A total of twenty-four Academians have been promoted to the professorial cadre in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. The varsity‘s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs Chika Ene, who disclosed this in a statement made available to Tribune Online in Awka, on Sunday, said aside from the 24 persons promoted to professorial rank, another 23 were equally promoted to the rank of Reader. “Faculties of Health Science Technology and Bio-Sciences have two each while faculties of Basic Medical Sciences have one each.
