These Russian mines have managed to slow down Ukraine's counteroffensive, making the Ukrainian Generals and other war planners to pause for a bit and come up with strategies on how to minimize their losses. Recently, a Ukrainian soldier who survived a Russian mine explosion gave a recount after experiencing one such explosion. Serhiy was quoted by the New York Times saying, "Your ears ring and things inside fly around." However, in most cases the blasts severely damage the vehicles, immobilizing them well before they could reach the Russian lines.
