Valuable royal documents exhibited in Lam DongMore than 200 precious royal documents are being showcased at an exhibition that opened in the National Archives Centre IV in Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on August 25. Some royal documents on display at the exhibitionEntitled “World royal documents, wood-block heritage-Historical value from memory”, the event comprises indoor and outdoor thematic display spaces introducing world documentary heritage of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal administrative documents and woodblocks. They were recognised as documentary heritage of the UNESCO’s Memory of the World Committee for Asia and Pacific. Currently, 34,619 woodblocks, which are recognised by the world documentary heritage, are being preserved in the National Archives Centre IV in Da Lat city. Many of them contain valuable contents affirming Vietnam ’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
