Calcutta: The inaugural programme of the Calcutta leg of Bonjour India, the festival of France in India, has been shifted from Rabindra Sarobar because of the recent National Green Tribunal order banning social functions on the Sarobar premises in the evenings. Two rock bands from France, Last Train and Colt Silvers, and one from Calcutta, Underground Authority, will now take the stage on Sunday afternoon at Deshapriya Park. "Our partners, the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority, decided to play it safe till they get a clarification from the court," said Veda Aggarwal, director of the Live In series. "We learnt of the shift after sending out the invitations on Thursday. I hope enough audience turns up," said Alliance Francaise du Bengale director Fabrice Plançon.
