Nova Scotia RCMP are focusing the search for a missing man on a small rural community near Truro after receiving video that clearly showed the man on someone's property. Jason Lorette was reported missing on March 20 and was last seen in the Harmony Road area of Salmon River on March 19. Marc Rose said police received video surveillance earlier this week that showed Lorette in the community of Lower Harmony roughly one hour after the previous sighting on Harmony Road. The communities are approximately five kilometres apart, meaning Lorette was likely moving at a "fast, steady" pace, said Rose. Crews were scouring the area on Friday, including ground search and rescue teams and an RCMP police dog.
