Police had asked Vikas, 23, to appear at the Sector 26 police station at 11 am. The two had been arrested after the woman accused them of chasing her car and trying to abduct her on Friday night but were later granted bail. ”Both accused are with us and we are interrogating them,” Chandigarh’s police chief Tajender Singh Luthra told PTI. Vikas Barala reached the police station shortly after his father told reporters that “he (Vikas) will cooperate with the police investigation”. Earlier in the day, DGP Luthra said Vikas refused to receive the notice so the police pasted it outside his house here.
