Hundreds of passengers were airlifted from a cruise ship that lost power in rough weather over the weekend off the coast of Norway. Norwegian authorities said that the Viking Sky, operated by Los Angeles-based Viking Cruises, lost power in three of its four engines and sent a mayday signal midday Saturday as it was traveling with 1,373 passengers and crew from Tromso in northern Norway to Stavanger in the south.
