However, the authorities have not made a decision yet regarding the 5,000 Rohingya children living in no man’s land near the Myanmar border. Bandarban Civil Surgeon Dr Aungshui Praw Marma said this while talking to reporters at a Vitamin A-plus campaign workshop at Bandarban Civil Surgeon Office on Wednesday. He also said that children in remote areas, including the seven upazilas of Bandarban, will be given Vitamin A-plus capsules. Presided over by Civil Surgeon Dr Aungshui Praw Marma, the workshop was also attended by Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Tahmina Shabnam Sobhan, Dr Belal Hossain, Sadar Hospital Medical Officer Dr Rakibul Hasan, Senior Education and Health Officer of Civil Surgeon Office Sushing Marmas, and print and electronic media journalists.
