The Woman Of Purpose Empowerment (WOPETC), aimed at impacting vocational and technical knowledge in young Liberian women Sunday, December 3, 2017 puts its second graduation exercises with 83 young women graduating from several disciplines including Tailoring, Interior and Event Decoration, Pastry, Catering, and Beauty Care. The occasion held at the Life Tabernacle Church on Benson Street was colorful, as relatives and friends of the graduates who came from far and near joyously graced the occasion with singing and dancing wishing the graduates prosperous celebrations. Serving as Guest Speaker at the occasion, Mr. J. Momo B. Johnson; Training Management and Planning Officer at United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) praised the students of WOPETC for their commitment in acquiring basic and sound vocational and technical education, and also lauded the efforts of the management team of WOPETC for the initiative. Mr. Johnson addressing the students also urged the Liberian Government to place importance on vocational and technical education in order for those Liberians in need of basic vocational and technical training be afforded the opportunity. The WOPETC was established in 2015 by Elizabeth Wah-Edzii along with other stakeholders with the desire of impacting vocational and technical into the minds of Liberians who are anxious to learn for the betterment of them and their dependents.
