NASA conducted a test of its newly redesigned RS-25 engine for future flights of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, the latest step in the agency's efforts for a return trip to the moon, then eventually to Mars. The hot fire test took place at the agency's Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
