The Kabusa oriental choir group is quite vibrant in the Nigerian digital space with about 225,000 followers on Instagram. We called it ‘Kabusa Oriental Mass Choir’ but it was too long, so we shortened it to ‘Kabusa Oriental Choir’. We started hanging out as friends and hung out more at the studio; helping each other out with our individual projects, before Kabusa Oriental choir took shape. You can say that because our first video as ‘Kabusa Oriental Choir’ was what shot us to limelight. We are in a social media age, so social media comics seem to have a large market but that doesn’t mean that stand-up comedians are losing relevance.
