Admittedly, most bars use bad coffee, and Licor 43 isn’t the most subtle of liqueurs. The version I’m offering, on the other hand, is a high-end iteration from the Castellon region of Spain. If you aren’t familiar with Licor 43, it’s a sweet vanilla-flavored liqueur with a hint of citrus. I decided to use cognac and Licor 43, for sweetness and sophistication.
