In January last year, students from Lang'ata Road Primary School protested against attempts by Weston Hotel management to grab its playground to make room for parking. Early this year the hotel blocked a road intersection motorists coming from Lang'ata use when heading to the Wilson Airport. The bus terminus next to Weston, commonly referred to as The Hague, has allegedly been moved closer to Lang'ata Road Primary School, near classrooms and the main gate. A hotel associated with Deputy President William Ruto is facing fresh controversy after it allegedly pushed for the relocation of a bus terminus and closure of a road intersection on Lang'ata Road to create space. Now motorists are forced to drive upto the T-Mall roundabout before turning back before they head to Wilson Airport.
