Kenya’s Harambee Starlets national women’s football team have qualified for the semi-final of the fifth COTIF International Tournament in Valencia, Spain thanks to CF Benfica’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of RCD Espanyol on Monday night. The club’s treasurer Samuel Marete believes the youthful side can pick from where they left off ahead of the second leg. Meanwhile, Oserian women’s football team are hoping to extend the good performance in the forthcoming second leg of the Kenya Women’s Football League set to resume later this Month. In group “B” results, Venezuela national team booked a semifinal slot after they posted a 1-0 win over Spanish side Elche CF in their second match. Venezuela picked their first win of the tournament with a 2-0 over Spanish side Betis.
