Our story begins with a photo of a very young, dolled-up Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr already looking capable of floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee. “He’s ready!” says his daughter Jamillah Ali, who amusingly notes that his mouth was wide open even before he could form proper sentences.
