People entitled to pandemic unemployment aid and who haven’t exhausted all rights continue to be eligible. States still have the power, though appeal is possible, to decide that someone is no longer eligible or wasn’t eligible for benefits. Federal pandemic unemployment payments have dropped from $600 to $300 a week.
