The team announced its first-team staff Friday; Vanni Sartini and Phillip Dos Santos as assistants, and Youssef Dahha as goalkeeper coach, with all three three agreeing to multi-year contracts. “Vanni, Phillip, and Youssef are all passionate teachers of the game,” Marc Dos Santos said in a release. The inclusion of Phillip Dos Santos was a near-certainty once his brother was hired as the Caps new coach. The two worked together at NASL sides Ottawa Fury and the San Francisco Deltas, and Philip most recently held down an assistant spot with the USL club Indy Eleven, and at NASL clubs Ottawa Fury FC and San Francisco Deltas. Dahha takes over as goalkeeper coach, a role he held with the Ottawa Fury last season, and with the Montreal Impact from 2004 to 2017.
