What will compromise NASA's chances of winning majority seats, even in its strongholds, is internal competition. Even though all the major Opposition parties are backing Raila Odinga's candidature, all of them have fielded candidates for the other seats. In Kwale County, for instance, Governor Salim Mvurya is almost assured of a second term because ODM and Wiper have fielded candidates. While it is democratic for each party to field candidates (since they did not dissolve), it is a disadvantage. I would not be surprised if Jubilee won seats in NASA strongholds.
