After constant questions regarding Uttar Pradesh's, India's most populous state, vaccination drive, the Centre commented on the same on Friday. The Centre was clarifying regarding media reports that claimed that it will take three years for Uttar Pradesh to fully vaccinate its population against COVID-19. The Centre also said that India has done a good job at making the vaccine available for the citizens and increasing the vaccination rate. However, the ministry said to also keep in mind that Uttar Pradesh is India's largest state in terms of population. Uttar Pradesh has registered a vaccination coverage of 4.67 crores so far.
