A village has been targeted in two burglaries on consecutive weekends, with money and assorted items stolen. The first break in took place overnight between January 21 and January 22, when a garage and shed in Vicarage Road, Wingfield, were broken into and a Gepida Reptila electric bike, a chainsaw and some garden tools were stolen. The second burglary took place overnight between Sunday and Monday at a café in Vicarage Road. Doors were forced open and money, including the contents of a charity box, were stolen.
