Without Russia, where is Ikea getting its wood?

Ikea had sourced 11% of its wood from Russia and Belarus before the conflict, the company’s fifth and sixth largest suppliers, respectively. To replace that wood, Ikea said it has increased its sourcing from Sweden and the Baltics. “We have managed to replace those volumes in other countries on a very hot wood market,” Ulf Johansson, global wood supply and forestry manager at Inter Ikea, told Reuters. The company released a map this week showing the exact origin of all its wood in an effort to increase transparency. We believe greater transparency will help support the development of responsible forest management globally.”The map also includes information on wood species, volumes and the company’s efforts to improve forest management in different markets.
