A 26-year old woman in Funyula, Busia county found herself in trouble after she allegedly killed a two day old baby.The Star has reported that the woman is accused of throwing the infant into a pit latrine. Area residents alerted the police who came to arrest her for questioning and charging.After the incident, locals tried to retrieve the infant from the latrine but it was already dead. When interrogated about her intentions that led to the death of her infant, the lady told the police life was too difficult for her to rear the child which made her take the drastic actions. "The woman told the police that life was too difficult for her to rear her child, hence her actions," the star has reported. The woman will be arraigned to court on Monday after investigations are complete.The infant's body was moved to a local mortuary for preservation.
