A woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly beheading her three-week-old twins in Uhuru estate, Nairobi. The babies' bodies were found next to a bed in a house in which the woman lived with her brother and his wife. The woman was rescued from neighbours who had camped outside the house baying for her blood. Neighbours said she had been living in Nakuru with her husband before moving to Nairobi on May 1. They said her househelp had left but that her sister-in-law, who is a nurse at Nairobi Hospital, and her brother had offered to assist her.
