Sharing the story anonymously, the woman said that her husband would regularly refer to his female friends at work as 'work wife' or 'work mistress', or names of that nature. She never thought anything of it and had no problem with the strange nickname, but now she feels on edge as her husband spends more time talking to his 'work wife' than his actual wife. He has had platonic friendships at work and refers to these women as work wife or work mistress. The woman went on to ask people if she was in the wrong for taking issue with this relationship and many people agreed she was not and urged her to speak to her partner.
