Police on Vancouver Island are investigating what they describe as a suspicious death after a woman's body was found in a Duncan gravel yard. North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say they responded to a report of a deceased woman located in a city gravel yard in the 3900 block of Cliffs Road on Tuesday. A city of around 5,000 people, Duncan is located about halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo. They say the circumstances surrounding the woman's death are considered suspicious. Police are asking anyone with information to contact North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522.
