Starlet coach Joshua Sakwa said the win is a motivation for his charges ahead of upcoming league matches. Starlet started the match on a high with Jackline Akinyi forcing Soccer Queens’ custodian Vivian Akinyi to push the ball out for a throw in in the second minute. Queens replied almost immediately but Vivian Corazone’s shot went wide. Starlets’ Akinyi was brought down in front of the goal area with Audry Magofia taking the responsibility but her shot went over the bar.
