The German enterprise aims to open sales in mid-November as an add-on package for car buyers, providing consumers with an industry-first immersive gaming experience. The announcement comes months after the firm trialled its entertainment system with Pico Interactive headsets, leading to years of development of the groundbreaking immersive platform. holoride’s system reduces motion sickness by incorporating steering, braking, and acceleration data, creating an immersive experience that flows with the vehicle’s movement with near-zero latency. Holoride is now launching VR games to be played in cars, selling its first VR packages to work in Audi vehicles.
