UK confirms game times for Purdue, Gonzaga, Indiana, and other games
The 2025-26 college basketball season is right around the corner, and we’re getting more confirmed game times for various Kentucky Wildcats games. On Thursday, UK announced the times for five more games, the first being the massive exhibition showdown with the Purdue Boilermakers, who could be the preseason No. That October 24 game at Rupp Arena will tip off at 6 PM ET on the SEC Network. On December 13, Kentucky will host the Indiana Hoosiers at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN in the first game of the renewed blue-blooded rivalry. Two other game times confirmed are the November 26 game vs. Tennessee Tech at 7 PM ET on the SEC Network, as well as the December 9 game vs. NC Central at 7 PM ET on the SEC Network.

Digital ID cards
ID cards were introduced in the First World War to aid with conscription and abolished afterwards in 1919. Why did the coalition government scrap ID cards? Picking up that theme, Labour backbenchers have called for digital ID cards both to streamline interactions with the state but also to allow better enforcement against illegal working. Is the government considering introducing digital ID cards for UK citizens? In response, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch argued that digital ID cards would “not really solve the problem” of helping to control migration, Reform have expressed concerns about the implications for privacy and argued they will not work, though Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey has said that "times have changed" and his party should not be "knee-jerk" in its opposition to digital ID cards.

Ticketmaster U.K. Agrees to Changes After Outrage Over Oasis Sales
Even Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain had something to say about the mess in Parliament this month. “It is depressing to hear of price hikes,” he said. It also found that Ticketmaster sold tickets with a “platinum” designation for far more than “standard” tickets — some nearly 2.5 times as much — but in similar locations, without adequately explaining that the platinum tickets offered no extra benefit. It also agreed to offer more information on the range of prices when ticket buyers first log on, and to alert fans when cheaper tickets sell out. Ticketmaster also will “ensure that tickets are described accurately and do not give the impression that one ticket is better than another when that is not the case,” the authority said in a statement.

The U.K. underground goated? Every now and again, a scene seems to be bubbling up out of nowhere, and all of a sudden, everyone is talking about it. That is what’s happening with the U.K. underground right now. Fakemink has been on a pretty intense run over the last six to 12 months, getting ideas out at a rapid pace. Fakemink does have hits, but with that kind of release strategy, by the time you see this, it may be another song altogether.

Man Utd closing in on signing another goalkeeper with overhaul planned after Andre Onana loan transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED are in the process of signing teenage goalkeeper Charlie Hardy from Derby County. Hardy, 16, has played five times for England Under 16s and is going through formalities to complete a move to United. Dean Henderson was briefly United’s No.1 in the Premier League in 2021 before David de Gea reclaimed his place the following season. United signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day but he is yet to make his first appearance for the club. The 23-year-old could be included as an overage player for the under 21s in one of their upcoming Football League Trophy or Premier League International Cup ties.

IOC UK prez meets Himachal CM in London
Shimla: The president of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) United Kingdom, Kamal Dhaliwal, along with vice president Gurminder Randhawa and other IOC UK members, met Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in London on Wednesday evening.During the meeting, the chief minister highlighted key initiatives of the Himachal Pradesh govt in sectors, including health, education, tourism, and environmental conservation. He shared that, due to proactive governance, the state improved its position in education quality rankings from 21st to 5th place.
