Massachusetts Democrats are planning a rally for transgender rights after Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., spoke out against trans athletes in women’s sports. “In the wake of Trump’s election and Seth Moulton’s recent transphobic comments, I am working with local LGBT organizations and local leaders on a large rally in Salem outside of Moulton’s office,” Davis told Fox News Digital. The source told Fox News Digital, however, that Moulton’s office had been contacted by Tufts University Political Science Department Chair David Art on the matter. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., attacked the Green Party presidential ticket after the party’s vice presidential nominee, Butch Ware, spoke out against transgender athletes in women’s sports. When those polled were asked specifically about adult transgender female athletes competing on women’s sports teams, 69% opposed it.

Elon Musk adds Microsoft to suit against OpenAI
Hoffman is a Microsoft board member and previously served on the board of OpenAI. The new legal filing also adds two plaintiffs to the suit alongside Musk: his startup xAI, which competes with OpenAI, and Shivon Zilis, a former OpenAI board member. Musk sued OpenAI in March in a state court in San Francisco, before withdrawing the suit without explanation. She left the OpenAI board last year. WASHINGTON—President-elect Donald Trump said he would nominate environmental lawyer and vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve as health and human services secretary, putting a noted critic of U.S. public policy atop the country’s vast health bureaucracy. Trump transition team co-chair Howard Lutnick previously had said that Kennedy wouldn’t head the department if Trump won the election. Like other Trump allies, Kennedy has spent much of his time at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private Florida club. Antiabortion groups were hopeful that a Trump health department would tighten access to abortion pills. Kennedy founded the nonprofit Children’s Health Defense, where for nearly two decades he continued to question vaccine scientists and public-health officials.

Israeli forces push deeper into Lebanon in widening war campaign
On Thursday, Israel’s military for the second day in row said its troops were reaching new targets in southern Lebanon. The soldiers were killed in a firefight with at least four Hezbollah fighters who ambushed Israeli troops inside a building, according to an initial Israeli probe. Since the start of October, Israeli troops have killed hundreds of Hezbollah operatives. They have also been razing villages along Lebanon’s border, destroying underground fortifications and seizing weapons, including advanced antitank missiles, according to the Israeli military. Israeli military spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani declined to say where and how much deeper Israeli troops have advanced into Lebanon.

New York CNN —Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest person and close ally of President-elect Donald Trump, met with Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations on Monday, the New York Times reported, citing two Iranian officials.
