Massachusetts Democrats are planning a rally for transgender rights after Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., spoke out against trans athletes in women’s sports. “In the wake of Trump’s election and Seth Moulton’s recent transphobic comments, I am working with local LGBT organizations and local leaders on a large rally in Salem outside of Moulton’s office,” Davis told Fox News Digital. The source told Fox News Digital, however, that Moulton’s office had been contacted by Tufts University Political Science Department Chair David Art on the matter. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., attacked the Green Party presidential ticket after the party’s vice presidential nominee, Butch Ware, spoke out against transgender athletes in women’s sports. When those polled were asked specifically about adult transgender female athletes competing on women’s sports teams, 69% opposed it.

Hoffman is a Microsoft board member and previously served on the board of OpenAI. The new legal filing also adds two plaintiffs to the suit alongside Musk: his startup xAI, which competes with OpenAI, and Shivon Zilis, a former OpenAI board member. Musk sued OpenAI in March in a state court in San Francisco, before withdrawing the suit without explanation. She left the OpenAI board last year. (The New York Times sued OpenAI and Microsoft in December for copyright infringement of news content related to AI systems.)

Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, this production took longer to bring to the stage than all three films took to make. The idea of turning “Back to the Future” into a stage musical got started in 2006. When transforming it for the musical, he and Ballard used its tune in the opening song. “My primary task in writing for a musical is to make sure that every character has a close up. “Back to the Future: the Musical” is now playing at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre through December 1st.

WASHINGTON—President-elect Donald Trump said he would nominate environmental lawyer and vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to serve as health and human services secretary, putting a noted critic of U.S. public policy atop the country’s vast health bureaucracy. Trump transition team co-chair Howard Lutnick previously had said that Kennedy wouldn’t head the department if Trump won the election. Like other Trump allies, Kennedy has spent much of his time at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private Florida club. Antiabortion groups were hopeful that a Trump health department would tighten access to abortion pills. Kennedy founded the nonprofit Children’s Health Defense, where for nearly two decades he continued to question vaccine scientists and public-health officials.

On Thursday, Israel’s military for the second day in row said its troops were reaching new targets in southern Lebanon. The soldiers were killed in a firefight with at least four Hezbollah fighters who ambushed Israeli troops inside a building, according to an initial Israeli probe. Since the start of October, Israeli troops have killed hundreds of Hezbollah operatives. They have also been razing villages along Lebanon’s border, destroying underground fortifications and seizing weapons, including advanced antitank missiles, according to the Israeli military. Israeli military spokesman Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani declined to say where and how much deeper Israeli troops have advanced into Lebanon.

The billionaire owner of The Los Angeles Times said his paper has conflated news and opinion and vowed to take it in another direction where all voices are heard and represented. Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, who bought the LA Times in 2018, told "Fox News @ Night" Thursday he wants his paper to differentiate between news and opinion, and explicitly report on "facts." And if it's an opinion, that's maybe an opinion of the news, and that's what I call now a voice. Three members of the LA Times’ editorial board resigned in protest over the paper’s non-endorsement. So as the Lakers open their NBA Cup title defense Friday in San Antonio with virtually the same roster as a year ago, it's more than fair to wonder what, if anything, this stretch of games means to them. Guard Austin Reaves, who starred in the NBA Cup final a year ago despite an illness, agrees with Redick. Actually, the prize pool ticked up slightly with all players on the winning team collecting $514,970. "We know it kind of was the hype around us last year, but we're approaching each game — regular-season game or Cup game — as the same," the Lakers big man said. "I don't think just because it's a Cup game that we should change how we approach it.
