In many ways, Project Hail Mary initially seemed headed in that same direction. In the end, Project Hail Mary has all the right ingredients, it just takes it time to bring them together. Luke Dolan ’27: Thumbs DownI enjoyed the experience of watching Project Hail Mary for its bold, future-facing vision of space travel and technology, but the film ultimately fell short of my expectations. Project Hail Mary asked so many questions of the viewer without providing the space to fully ponder them, to the point that the conclusion is fundamentally unsatisfying, despite the creators’ best efforts to answer their own ridiculously long list of sci-fi subplots. ‘Thumb War’ is a taste of two critics’ opinions on the same piece of media.

Bangladesh reach final in compound men's team event

In the final, Bangladesh archery team comprising Himu Bachar, Aisharzo Rahman and Newaz Ahmed Rakib beat Bhutan by 232-228 points (60-57, 119-115, 176-171) in the semifinal. Bangladesh will now face Vietnam in the gold deciding final match on Friday (March 27). In the recurve men's team event, Bangladesh lost to Kazakhstan by 6-0 set in the quarterfinal while in the compound women's team event, Bangladesh lost to Thailand by 229-230 points in the quarterfinal. In the compound men's singles event, Bangladesh's archer Himu Bachar lost to his Indian rival Uday Kamboj 146-147 in the quarterfinal.

Bangladesh's preparation for NZ series begins March 27

GPSA Members Push for More Student Engagement Ahead of April Elections

With nearly all of its executive roles opening up, GPSA members shared how low awareness and participation could limit how effectively GPSA reflects student interests. These representatives help allocate funding, advocate for student concerns and shape graduate student policy. In the May 2024 GPSA elections, voters represented approximately 6% of the over 10,000 graduate and professional students enrolled at the time. While both groups advocate for graduate students, Brennan emphasized that the assembly represents all graduate and professional students, not just those employed by the University.

Israeli military warns of inbound missiles from Iran
