“It’s going to have unlimited uses,” said acting Milford Police Chief James Falvey, whose department just recently got a drone. They all can send back a live video feed to the operator or even post live on social media websites such as Facebook. “We got it initially for social media – social media is big,” he said. Although not all departments have a drone, several area department chiefs and spokespeople have said they are looking into getting drones. It’s much faster and covers an area much quicker than on foot.”Many departments help out other departments with the drones.

Indian Railways is planning to roll out atleast 10 new Vande Bharat Trains connecting 40 cities by August 2022. Medha Servo had won the contract worth INR 2,211 Crores to supply the electrical systems for 44 Vande Bharat Trains in January this year. As a result, the Vande Bharat Train has faster acceleration and deceleration, helping it to maintain a higher average speed despite stoppages. At present, two Vande Bharat Trains are operational on the Indian Railway network.

China economy under pressure as factory output, retail sales growth slow sharply

Natick's Jake Blatnica named USA TODAY's Special Olympics Athlete of the Year
NATICK — Walking the halls of Natick High School, nearly everyone knows Jake Blatnica. Among the activities that Blatnica is involved with are both Unified basketball and track as well as the junior varsity indoor track team. He first began playing Unified basketball when he was a freshman during the fall of 2019. He ended up joining the junior varsity indoor track team in the winter before joining Unified track in the spring of 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was for his commitment and determination in overcoming an ACL injury to play Unified sports again that he was named the USA TODAY Special Olympics Athlete of the Year.

Lebanese central bank head maintains innocence against corruption charges
BEIRUT (Reuters) – Lebanese central bank governor Riad Salameh maintained his innocence amid allegations of corruption, saying in a radio interview on Saturday that his conscience was clear. Salameh is under investigation in Switzerland on charges related to embezzlement, and probes are under way or being planned in several other European countries. “I have not benefitted one penny from the central bank,” Salameh told Radio Free Lebanon.
