The Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council (CFEC) and Tankoil Group have entered into a cooperation agreement to assist CFEC member companies in exporting their chemical products and fertilizers to various markets around the world. The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza reached 9,770 on Sunday, the 30th day of the ongoing conflict. Among the victims, 4,800 were children and 2,550 were women, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken rejected on Sunday Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s request for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to a Palestinian official. The official told Xinhua that Blinken reaffirmed during his meeting with Abbas in the West Bank city of Ramallah “Israel’s right to defend itself and continue its military campaign” in Gaza. CAIRO – 5 November 2023: Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan made Sunday a phone call to his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shokry to exchange views on pushing forward an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza in order to protect civilians and deliver aid. There was congruence among the two ministers on the salience of ending the current tragic situation as soon as possible. In that framework, they discussed the security and humanitarian repercussions of the Israeli aggression, and its impact on both regional and international peace and security. Hence, they stressed the importance of inhibiting the extension of violence to other areas in the region. Today marks 101 anniversary of the greatest discovery of king Tutankhamun's tomb. On November 4, 1922, the treasures of the golden king were discovered in his one of a kind tomb. Sir Howard Carter, British archaeologist and Egyptologist, had made it his life’s quest to find the tomb of King Tutankhamun. One, however, proved to be elusive; King Tutankhamun, whose resting place had yet to be found and who Egyptologists knew very little about. Alas, even after five years of work, Carter wasn’t able to report back on anything substantial.

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has claimed the lives of 9,488 people, including 3,900 children and 2,509 women, as well as injuring 24,158 others, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday. The ministry also said that 150 medical personnel were among the dead and 27 ambulances were destroyed by the Israeli attacks. The ministry added that 105 health institutions were deliberately targeted by the Israeli occupation forces, rendering 16 hospitals and 32 primary care centers out of service due to the damage and the shortage of fuel. The ministry also called on the international community to review its positions regarding the crimes committed against the Palestinian people, and to hold the Israeli occupation accountable and stop its aggressions. The ministry appealed to all institutions and parties to provide safe passage for the delivery of medical aid and fuel to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, especially Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Indonesian Hospital, before a major catastrophe occurs.
