CBE shot into the lead in the 20th minute when former St George Striker, Addis Gidey scored for the Bankers. Barhir Dar in 3rd place with 17 points and St George with 16 points complete the top 4 with Ethiopian Insurance rising to 8th on the log. Ethiopia Coffee are uncharacteristically 12th in midtable and Hambericho prop up the rear in 15th, just one place above bottom Club, Shashemene City.

4 runners sent to hospital during Taipei Marathon
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Three runners suffered out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) and another had a stroke during the Taipei Marathon on Sunday morning (Dec. 17). The three male runners, ages 26, 46, and 50, who suffered from OHCA received emergency treatment and are in stable condition. Approximately 30,000 runners assembled before 6:30 a.m. in front of Taipei City Hall for the marathon on Sunday, which concluded at Taipei Municipal Stadium. This year's Taipei Marathon was the largest in history, with runners from 62 countries. The Taipei City Government Department of Sports said medical doctors were deployed to assist runners during the marathon, which enabled the four individuals to quickly receive medical assistance.

The children in the choir are excited to share their culture with others and educate them on how they celebrate the holidays. “Being able to educate people, being out there and seeing the world like this, like ‘oh I get to help people know about this,’ and just teaching others,” said Ethiopian Children’s Choir member Arsiema Feliche. This time of year, Ethiopian’s celebrate Gena, a Christmas-like holiday which honors the birth of Jesus Christ with fasting and connecting with community.

Believing they were Hamas terrorists in disguise, the soldier yelled “terrorists” and shot two of the men while the third fled back to the building. The IDF stated that both the soldier who killed the two terrorist and the one who shot the third were acting against protocol. The IDF has issued new protocols given the possibility of hostages escaping captivity, especially since the IDF has managed to destabilize Hamas control in the region.
