The Summit, an annual calendar event is being organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Office of the President and selected Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to provide a platform for structured dialogue between Government and the Private Sector on critical areas of interest to the private sector. The Theme of the summit is “Public-Private Dialogue on the Role of the Private Sector in Ghana’s Post-COVID Economic Recovery”, and His Excellency the President will deliver the keynote address. The deliberations with the private sector in the plenary sessions will focus on five (5) cross-cutting thematic areas covering: Fiscal and Non-Fiscal Incentives to Support Production and Private Sector Development; Foreign Exchange Regulation and Currency Stability; Access to Finance and Cost of Capital; Energy Pricing, Availability, Access and Reliability; and Supporting Local Industries through Government Procurement and Local Content Regulation. The outcome of the Presidential Business Summit will be a Ghana Business Compact which will detail out specific priority areas of government policy interventions in support of private sector development.

A friend of the deceased has given details on the death of Sani Majeed. According to Benjamin Oppong, though the late Sani Majeed was noted for being a master in the game, he was supposed to have taken a break after trying the backflips 5 times. Speaking on Adom FM’s Midday News Friday, Benjamin Oppong, said his friend did not rest before jumping the last round that led to his demise. Abdul Majeed Sani suffered a spine severe injury after the unfortunate incident. He was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he died few days after admission.

There are three main components which are a Solutions challenge, a CubeSat challenge and a Robotics challenge. “An exciting part about this year’s FIRST Global Challenge is the prototyping of a CubeSat. Their CubeSat prototype will include a mini-camera, a digital temperature sensor and a laser particle sensor in a 3d printed cube box. In the FIRST Global Challenge, teams will compete with teams around the world to develop their robot to design, building and programming skills for four different tasks.

They can’t determine what the medically appropriate treatment is. It is the professionally determined, medically appropriate options that an informed patient can exercise an informed choice from. I have this condition and this is the treatment I need, even when that treatment has not been indicated. “…that will be very wrong appreciation of what medical jurisprudence or medical laws… is about,” he added.

Shatta has threatened to fight anyone who attacks him over his honest assessment of the music industry. His comments have attracted strict opposition from some industry players including music video director David Nicol-Sey and the founder of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu. Sadiq has refuted a claim by Shatta Wale, who in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, intimated that musicians cannot know the amount they make on songs. Describing Shatta's claim as hollow, Sadiq in a tweet said: “Wale is always making hollow arguments and running in circles. The Deputy Minister is reported to have questioned how Ghanaians expect government to raise capital for road development if borrowing is out of the question. Everybody wants good roads but if you are not willing to pay the right tolls, how do we raise the money?” he said. After several shelved attempts by government to increase road tolls, the Ministry Roads Ministry is currently looking for means to raise funds to finance the country’s road deficit. The Ministry indicates this has become necessary as the Road Fund continues to depreciate against the various road infrastructure projects that need to be undertaken. The Minority in Parliament however has served notice that it will resist any attempt by government to increase road tolls.
