Arsenal return to winning ways by easing past Nottingham ForestBy Andy Sims, PAArsenal reignited their title bid in style as stunning strikes from Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and a first Premier League goal for Ethan Nwaneri sank Nottingham Forest 3-0. The Gunners, with Declan Rice and Kai Havertz on the bench as Arteta shuffled his pack, thought they had taken an early lead through Jurrien Timber. However, Arsenal did go ahead in the 15th minute when Saka exchanged passes with Odegaard on the edge of the area. The England winger continued his run across the box, skipping past James Ward-Prowse and Alex Moreno before lashing a left-footed shot back across Forest keeper Matz Sels into the roof of the net. Nwaneri almost made an instant impact after climbing off the bench but his teasing run ended with a shot which drifted just wide.

Caoimhin Kelleher knows Liverpool need to keep their foot on the gasBy PA Sport StaffLiverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has told his teammates they cannot afford to ease off after opening up a gap at the top of the Premier League. “We know we can’t take our foot off the gas for one second because we’ll get punished. “You need to take every team in this league very seriously or else you’ll end up not getting good results. “A lot of that squad has departed now so there’s not too many of the squad in there who have tasted Premier League or Champions League success. We know we have the quality, but we need to go out and show it.

‘Illustrated books are not just for children’Illustrated books are not just for children and this week’s illustrated books cover everything from cookery to the great outdoors, from history and architecture to art and fancy writing. The result is this spellbinding, lavishly illustrated tome, presenting profoundly beautiful ecosystems that we’re barely holding on to. A really lovely book, it would make a really lovely present. Our neutrality did not preclude us from the suffering, and we too were sent our ration books, while everything from food to fabrics was in short supply. It’s a little piece of balm for the soul – a thoughtful, contemplative and useful book that would make a great gift.

Curry returnsTom Curry’s selection against Japan a fortnight after he was knocked out against Australia has raised eyebrows. A junior World Cup winner with the under-20s during the summer, big things are expected of the Sale prop who has been talked up by front row veterans Dan Cole and Joe Marler. Borthwick has been impressed by his dynamic play in the loose, set-piece expertise and the ability to play on both sides of the scrum, which makes him particularly valuable in a World Cup squad. 👊🇯🇵#ENGvJPN | @autumnnations pic.twitter.com/uZ07stOyl3 — Japan Rugby (@JRFURugby) November 22, 2024“They are a team that don’t ever let you rest, don’t give you a moment to turn your back” was the appraisal of Japan offered by England assistant coach Andrew Strawbridge. It swept them to the Pacific Nations Cup final in September, but they were then thumped 41-17 by Fiji.

McGregor was previously the subject of a criminal investigation in Ireland, his home country, in connection with the allegations, but was not charged. She said she hoped the outcome would send a message to victims of sexual assault to “speak up.”“You have a voice,” she said. It was during that period that he met Hand, who comes from the same part of Dublin as McGregor, according to her lawsuit. (During the trial, jurors were told that McGregor had taken cocaine, too.) After Hand went home, her mother called her an ambulance and she was examined at a sexual assault treatment unit at a hospital.
