In this conversation, co-defendant Gertrude offers an account of the events surrounding the untimely demise of Charloe Musu at the residence of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott. She also informed the caller that the security guards assigned to the compound were nowhere to be found when the incident unfolded. Gertrude then went to Rebecca’s room and requested the security guards to break the window to allow them to escape. The security guards complied, enabling Gertrude, Rebecca, and Alice Johnson to exit the house through the window.

MONROVIA — Employees at the James Spriggs Payne Airport, a Domestic Airport in Monrovia, have threatened to shut down all activities at the airport following management’s alleged failure to pay salary arrears it owes them. Genoway, Jr (231886458910)-[email protected]The aggrieved domestic airport workers are alleging that management owes them over seven months salary, with absolutely no assurance of said debt being settled anytime soon. The angry airport employees have therefore threatened to shut down the entire facility in an attempt to claim the attention of President George Weah and his government. The aggrieved James Sprigs Payne airport workers bemoaned the impact adverse effect of said act by management in the midst of serious economic constraints facing the country. But the airport manager has however declined speaking on the issues after several attempts getting him to speak on the matter.

After enduring the ordeal for some time, Korpo decided to confide in the Town Chief, hoping for intervention. However, the Town Chief hesitated to take action, leaving Korpo feeling helpless and her body deteriorating from the emotional distress. On February 23, 2021, McClain filed a summary proceeding against the Unity Party Chairman and all those in authority to recover possession of the real property. On November 23, 2021, the court held the Unity Party liable and ordered the Sheriff to evict the UP. However, on June 14, 2022, the Unity Party filed a response for a payment stipulation. However, the Unity Party failed to comply with the mandate. Once again, the Unity Party failed to honor the court’s mandate.

Mr. Allison comes to the LBDI with a unique perspective after working as a financial services regulator and risk management professional at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) for more than 21 years. Mr. Allison has several professional certificates from various training programs. He has facilitated training courses for bankers in the West African region on corporate governance and risk management at the West African Institute for Financial & Economic Management (WAIFEM). Mr. Allison is no stranger to the LBDI.

Supreme Court Communication Director, Darryl Ambrose Nmah, has clarified the recent Marshall land dispute case involving Chief Justice Her Honor Sie -A- Nyene Yuoh. “The Chief Justice has never bought any property from Clarence Momolu,” Nmah stated firmly. Interestingly, this property is in close proximity to another property owned by the Chief Justice. According to Nmah’s account, upon arriving at the property, the Chief Justice encountered a man who claimed ownership. The land dispute in Marshall remains a contentious issue, with multiple parties providing conflicting accounts of the events.

“The operation underscores a growing commitment from the Liberian government to crack down on drug-related criminal activities,” LDEA Bong County Commander Gokor said. The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has arrested a 26-year-old woman with a consignment of narcotic drugs worth US$6K. Helena Sulonteh, who was arrested in Gbarnga, Bong County, was carrying 150 grams of heroin and raw cocaine. “The valuable intelligence helps us to track the activities of this young woman, ultimately leading to her apprehension and the seizure of a significant quantity of unlawful substances,” Joseph Gokor, LDEA Commander in Bong County said. Solunteh's arrest preceded the 54th Legislature’s passage of several amendments to the country’s drug law, making most offenses non-bailable.
