Lahore – Pakistan junior team finished ninth in the Junior Davis Cup that concluded in New Delhi, India, thanks to young Pakistan lads for their last four consecutive ties victories in the mega event. According to Pakistan captain Rashid Malik (Tamgh-e-Imtiaz), young Pakistani boys fought very well especially in the last four ties that helped boys in green finish ninth in the event. First they defeated Sri Lanka by 2-1, and then took on strong Uzbekistan team in the next tie. But this time, Pakistani young lads showed their class and fought bravely to win the crucial tie by 2-1. Pakistan has reported no deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has risen to 1,527,151. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 30,363 on Saturday. According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH) 76 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Till now 13,559 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 8,098 in Sindh, 6,322 in KP, 1,023 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan and 191 in GB.
