Northern VA woman determined to reconnect a diamond necklace with its owner
ARLINGTON, Va. — A Northern Virginia woman said she got more than she paid for from The Container Store in Clarendon back in the summer of 2019. “Someone had clearly bought the jewelry box, put their jewelry in it, and then returned the box without taking their own jewelry out," Maddux said. Inside the white jewelry box was a diamond necklace inside a red cloth bag. She took the jewelry box back to The Container Store and tried to get answers from the corporate office with no luck. Maddux has set up an email, [email protected], in hopes the necklace's rightful owner can reach out and get their necklace back.

‘The Crown’ may develop prequel series about sordid 20th-century scandals
Fans of “The Crown” may be getting another new series to binge-watch in the future. Producers of the Netflix drama are currently discussing the possibility of penning a prequel series based on the royal family, according to Variety. The series would reportedly dive into the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, and then into the dynasties of four British kings: Edward VII (1901-1910), George V (1910-1936), Edward VIII (1936) and George VI (1936-1952). In earlier seasons of “The Crown,” Jared Harris played King George VI, while Alex Jennings and Derek Jacobi both appeared as King Edward VIII. One pilfered item was a replica of a rare Fabergé egg that belonged to Queen Elizabeth II’s grandfather, George V, in 1933.

Really…Wolf Van Halen, son of the late legendary rocker Eddie Van Halen, seems a bit salty he didn’t win Best Rock Song at the 2022 Grammys on Sunday night. Wolf, 31, was nominated for his song “Distance” which he wrote about his late father, a founding member of Van Halen. The thing about slow charging is that it’s always an option – just use one of the low-power chargers you have in your drawer. These charge fast enough with no downsides.
