With school and college buses clogging the roads, it is a tough task for anyone. For those taking the road from Simhachalam arch on the Gopalapatnam main road to NAD Junction in the morning it’s almost always a tough, daily grind with traffic moving at a slow pace. The proposal for a bypass road from near Simhachalam arch opposite Kumari Kalyanamantapam connecting to the highway after NAD Junction has been pending for a long time. The crux of the issue is NSTL parting with land for the road near its wall. According to the MLA, GVMC is ready to take up the 2.8 km bypass road to ease the traffic.
