APC, PDP share victories during House of Representatives rerun election in KanoFORMER majority leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has won Saturday’s rerun of his Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal constituency. While announcing the result of the Doguwa Tudun Wada federal constituency rerun election early Sunday morning, INEC returning officer, Professor Mansur Auwalu Bindawa, declared that Alhassan Ado Doguwa polled the highest number of votes and was returned winner. In a related development, candidate of the PDP in Kiru/BebejiFederal Constituency rerun election, Alhaji Aliyu Datti Yako, was declared winner by INEC. The returning officer of Kiri/Bebeji Federal Constituency, Professor Abdullahi Arabic, on Sunday, said, “Aliyu Datti Yako, defeated 18 other candidates of various political parties to emerge winner. “Aliyu Datti Yako of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected.”
