Two months into the season and, one very large VAR mistake aside, Liverpool supporters have had little reason to complain at the progress of Jurgen Klopp's new-look side. The ECHO has rated Liverpool's squad throughout the 11 games they have played in all competitions this season, marking them out of 10 for every appearance in which they played for at least 15 minutes. Perhaps the most encouraging start of the campaign is that of Darwin Nunez (7.44), who has consistently made an impact when called upon. On the opposite side of the defence, Trent Alexander-Arnold (6.86) continues to deliver in his new inverted right-back role. Only when Mac Allister is in a more advanced role will Liverpool be able to harness his true talents.
