Alleged hate crime and assault with a deadly weapon, detained by the Beverly Hills police

Jarris Jay Silagi, 44, faced charges of lethal weapon, “attempt robbery,” hate crime, and elder abuse at Los Angeles County Jail. However, a senior forensic specialist with the Beverly Hills Police Department was able to identify a male resembling the circulated description, which led to the identification and subsequent apprehension of a person who matched the description that was made public. The victim, who acquired a laceration on his head, was attended by the Beverly Hills Fire Department at the location and didn’t need further medical intervention at the moment. Silagi was detained at Los Angeles County Jail with a lethal weapon, “attempt robbery,” hate crime, and elder abuse charges. Legal proceedings are scheduled for December 12th at Los Angeles Airport Court.
