A day after Reliance Communications reported a consolidated loss of Rs 30,142 crore for the second quarter, Anil Ambani on Saturday resigned as Director of Reliance Communications. 1,141 crore last year during the second quarter. This is the second-worst loss reported by an Indian corporate to date, behind Vodafone Idea's reported loss of Rs 50,921.9 crore in Q3 this year. Bharti Airtel stands third after a loss of Rs 23,000 crore, as it reported on Thursday. The company is undergoing insolvency proceedings and owes over Rs 50,000 crore to banks.
