Producer Rhea Kapoor's rumoured boyfriend Karan Boolani's directorial debut's future was up in the air as of last year, when it was put on the backburner. Obviously, the project Saat (formerly titled Saat Hindustani) which was to launch seven newcomers, was seen to have a high production cost and low viability and hence, was shelved temporarily. A source close to the project now says that Anil Kapoor, Rhea's father has taken a keen interest in the project. Sources say the Kapoors want Karan to get a good working knowledge as director before he calls the shots for his own feature film. Confirming the development, Karan told a tabloid when contacted, “The film was never shelved.
