Following a two-week travel ban in and out of Saudi Arabia, EgyptAir announced on Sunday that passengers who missed flights in and out of the country will now be able to reschedule. The airline noted that the General Authority for Saudi Civil Aviation has reopened air travel to and from the kingdom. Saudi authorities on December 20 suspended international flights to and from the kingdom through land and sea ports due to the spread of a new coronavirus strain in several countries. Saudi Arabia suspended all international and domestic flights on March 21, after the initial outbreak of coronavirus swept the world. It later lifted its domestic ban in May, and slowly reopened to international flights throughout the rest of 2020.
