Visit Britain director Patricia Yates said it was “all to play for” for the UK industry as the Government prepares to unveil which Covid-19 curbs can be relaxed next, due for July 4. "Bournemouth is looking at an app that tells people which beaches are less crowded and signposts people to go there. Ms Yates urged the Prime Minister to be clear with hotel and tourism chiefs about what was needed to reopen safely. “It's very important for the tourism industry that they have clarity on date and clarity on what measures they will need to implement to be able open safely,” she said. The hospitality and leisure industry in England will be allowed to reopen from July 4 at the earliest.
