KUALA LUMPUR: Award-winning Bollywood actress Kajol will make her appearance in a Tamil movie after a 20-year absence. She is set to star in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (VIP2), the sequel to VIP which premiered in 2014. This comedy-drama, directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, sees Kajol playing the protagonist alongside popular Tamil film actor, Dhanush, who returns to reprise his role as the hero, Raghuvaran. At the VIP 2 meet-and-greet session in Masjid India today, which saw the gathering of more than 2,000 screaming fans, Kajol said it had been years since she had acted in a Tamil movie and spoke the language. The actress will be in town till tomorrow.
