Robot cameras were used to probe inside the HMS Terror for the first time since it was discovered four years ago. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, access to the wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror in waters off King William Island in Nunavut is closed to all but local Inuit Guardians keeping watch on the sites, and those with harvesting rights in the surrounding waters.
