Cautious optimism for ceasefire supports sharesRECAP: Asian equities rose yesterday as investors returned to risk assets after the US-Iran ceasefire deal, although concerns about its durability kept a lid on gains. Foreign investors were net buyers of 5.41 billion baht, followed by brokerage firms at 1.79 billion. Retail investors were net sellers of 4.89 billion baht, followed by institutional investors at 2.31 billion. The Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation has launched a loan guarantee programme worth 10 billion baht to help micro SMEs weather the energy crisis. The Board of Investment ‌approved a plan by Isuzu to invest 15 billion ‌baht to upgrade its pickup truck production base in Thailand.
