Recidivist conman Gordon Bayne was sentenced at the Auckland District Court. (FILE PHOTO)A recidivist concrete con-man who ripped off customers to the tune of thousands of dollars has been jailed. However, following that meeting with the OA, he applied for consent to be self-employed operating a concrete business. At the sentencing, Judge Thomas said Bayne deliberately and illegally ran the concrete business using different aliases in an attempt to shield from the OA. Judge Thomas acknowledged these charges weren't about the losses towards the customers but the judgment creditors.
